[2007. We're pleased to announce the recent addition of Amanda to our team of freelancers.]
Being a freelance designer is just one of of Amanda’s jobs and interests, along with being a full time cartographer. She graduated in Cartography/Digital Mapping at the College of Geographic Sciences, and from there her love for design grew. She is self taught in many arts such as oil painting, graphic design and jewelry making.
Because of her numerous years in the cartography industry, Amanda is as creative as she is technical. She understands that these two skills combined can create the perfect logo, ring, painting, map, pillow design, etc. Casual and friendly, she brings to the table a unique, lovely and free-spirited sense of design.

[January 2012. We're pleased to announce the recent addition of Vicki to our team of freelancers.]
Vicki began her love of graphic design in 1997 when she studied Media. It was at that time that several things happened: she realized that she highly enjoyed advertising, she was first introduced to a mac and she was first introduced to what would now be considered a very dated version of Photoshop.
Vicki completed college and obtained her BTEC National Diploma in Media Studies after which she took a job in an administration role. During this time the opportunity to have input and involvement in the companies web design was offered to her. She then decided to study Web Applications Development, and once again, realized that she showed more interest towards design than web development and became a design manager, responsible for all design projects both for print and digital media.
In 2009, after taking a year off to become a Mum, she began freelancing. She discovered freelancing was the best way forward and hasn’t looked back since. Graphic design now takes up a large portion of her time, but she still finds a healthy balance between family, friends, work and hobbies.

[May 2011. We're pleased to announce the recent addition of Helena to our team of freelancers.]
Helena is an editor, copywriter and translator with a passion for the written word. She has previously worked as a researcher, producer and writer in busy television newsrooms in Montreal and Toronto. Helena also brings experience in public affairs and communications from both the corporate and non-profit sectors. In addition, she has worked as a translator for many years, specializing in advertising and marketing.
She is now happy to be raising her boisterous brood in Halifax, and when not busy cleaning up after a houseful of boys, she's most happy cleaning up copy and fixing grammar.
Helena is a graduate of Concordia University's school of journalism. She also holds a graduate degree in translation.
Welcome Helena, we're looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding journey.
